On March 23, 2010 at 11:00 am (EST) Marsh and sister MMC Company Kroll will hold a free Webinar, "Managing Your Risk in the Middle East."
Tom Everett-Heath, the head of Kroll's Gulf operation, will lead a one-hour discussion on counterparty risk as it relates to joint venture partners, suppliers, contractors, or clients. Tom will highlight the steps organizations working in the Middle East should take to understand with whom they are working and the potential liabilities — reputational and financial — to which they might be exposing their businesses.
Tom will also address:
- Market-entry strategies, including commercial, political, and regulatory landscapes, as well as how to manage discreet reviews of existing relationships;
- The danger of default;
- Rule of law and dispute resolution; and
- Political interference — operating in cultures where business and politics merge.
